The 30th Jewish American & Holocaust Literature (JAHLit) Symposium will take place February 1–3, 2026, in New Orleans. The symposium will host a welcome reception/keynote address on the evening of Sunday, February 1 (appetizers and drinks provided), as well as two full days of sessions from February 2–3 (coffee/tea, breakfast, and lunch provided for participants on both days). The 30th Jewish American & Holocaust Literature (JAHLit) Symposium will take place February 1–3, 2026, in New Orleans with a Sunday evening reception (2/1/26) and two days of sessions, ending on Tuesday, 2/3/26 at 5:30 pm. The Jewish American and Holocaust Literature Association (JAHLit) is a subsidiary organization of the American Literature Association. Comprised of an international body of scholars, JAHLit convenes a selective annual symposium, which typically consists of a Sunday evening keynote and reception followed by two full days of panels and programs within a single shared space. Participants range from senior scholars and emeritus faculty to graduate students, representing a variety of backgrounds and fields of expertise, including literary studies, film, and new media.
